We are thrilled to announce that Taylor Albrecht, Founder and President of Mountain West UAS, and Honora Roberts, Vice President and Secretary, have been named the organization’s first emeritus board members. Their remarkable contributions over the years have profoundly shaped the landscape of UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) in our region.

Since founding Mountain West UAS in 2017, Taylor has dedicated seven years to advancing the organization’s mission, guiding it through pivotal initiatives and community engagement. His vision laid the groundwork for the annual UAS Roundups, which have become key events for industry networking and knowledge sharing.

Honora joined the organization in 2018, initially serving as Vice President before stepping into the Secretary role last year. Her insights and dedication have been instrumental in the development of the Drone Training Park, a significant resource for aspiring drone operators and professionals alike.

As they transition to their emeritus roles, both Taylor and Honora will continue to provide valuable guidance and support to the new leadership team. Their commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in the UAS field will undoubtedly influence the future direction of Mountain West UAS.

Join us in celebrating their legacy and the enduring impact they have made on our organization and the broader UAS community. We look forward to their continued involvement as we embark on new adventures together!
